ABC.AZ reports that a number of important issues were discussed at the meeting. MP Vugar Bayramov said that development of women's entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan should become a priority of the State Committee on Family, Women & Children.

"So far, 50 women entrepreneurs have officially declared their desire to build a business in the territories liberated from occupation, to invest in them. This means that women entrepreneurs will also play role in the restoration of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur. It is in this context that development of women's entrepreneurship should become a priority. Today, 1 out of 5 entrepreneurs operating in Azerbaijan are women, but there are no women among large entrepreneurs. In middle-size entrepreneurship, the share of women is 8%, and in small businesses -1.6%," he noted.
