November 11, Fineko/abc.az. There is high inflation in Azerbaijan today. Not only Azerbaijan, but all countries of the world suffer from inflation.
ABC.AZ reports that Finance Minister Samir Sharifov made this statement at a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis committees on legal policy and state building, defense, security and anti-corruption, human rights, international relations and inter-parliamentary relations.
The minister added that inflation is a factor that reduces the income of every citizen of the country:
"The government is interested in reducing inflation. Despite the fact that our incomes are growing, we want inflation to decrease. High inflation weakens the purchasing power of the population. Currently, favorable conditions for the sale of oil and gas have developed on world markets. But the income coming to our country from this is more focused on covering expenses. Therefore, we must be careful about spending."
