November 5, Fineko/abc.az. Two more Kyrgyz banks have suspended the service of Russian Mir cards.
ABC.AZ reports that since 1 November banks Bai Tushum and Optima-Bank do not serve Russian Mir cards.
Earlier in Kyrgyzstan, commercial banks - Kyrgyzstan, Bakay-Bank, Doskredobank, Companion, Bank of Asia, KICB, one state bank Ayil-Bank, etc. - announced the suspension of servicing of Russian Mir cards. There are 23 banks in total in the republic.
The National Bank of the country has previously stated that it does not interfere with the work of the republic's banks in the issue of servicing Mir payment cards.
