October 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has increased the discount rate by 25 basis points up to 8%.

According to the CBA, the lower threshold of the interest rate corridor has been increased from 4% to 5% and the upper one has been kept at 9.25%.

The CBA had previously kept the discount rate at 7.75% for four consecutive meetings.

The next decision of the CBA board on the parameters of the interest rate corridor will be made public on 16 December.
