ABB interest income increased by AZN 79.1 million

October 21, Fineko/abc.az. ABB (International Bank of Azerbaijan) has published financial indicators for the past 9 months of 2022 (Jan-Sept).

ABC.AZ reports that compared with Jan-Sept 2021, bank's interest income grew by AZN 79.1 million or 24.4% up to AZN 402.736 million and non–interest income by AZN 4.8 million or 3.2% up to AZN 133.196 million. Bank's total operating income (interest and non-interest income) grew by AZN 83.8 million up to AZN 535.9 million.

Since operating income exceeds operating expenses, ABB closed 9 months of this year with operating profit of AZN 281.746 million (AZN 229.59 million for the 2021 same period). From the operating profit, the bank allocated AZN 32.7 million for target reserves created for possible losses, and paid AZN 39.1 million of income tax. Thus, ABB completed Jan-Sept 2022 with net profit of AZN 209.9 million.
