October 20, Fineko/abc.az. Four Kyrgyz banks have temporarily suspended operations with Russian cards Mir.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the customer relations services of those financial institutions.

"We inform you that the service of Mir cards at ATMs and POS terminals of the bank has been suspended. We apologize for inconvenience and thank you for your understanding," the message published on the Bank of Asia’s website says.

Halyk Bank, Demir Bank and Kyrgyzstan Bank have also stopped servicing Mir cards in the republic. The website of the latter clarifies that it is a question of suspending the service of Mir cards only for some Russian banks.

Earlier, banks Kompanion, Bakay Bank and Doskredobank refused to conduct operations with Mir cards in Kyrgyzstan.
