October 19, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has sent an appeal to the participants of the 2nd Azerbaijan international exhibition "Restoration, Reconstruction & Development of Karabakh" - "Rebuild Karabakh".

ABC.AZ reports that the head of state emphasized that this year the exhibition is important from angle of restoring the occupation-liberated territories, rapid integration and sustainable development of the national economy, as well as establishing useful business ties in this direction.

"I’m sure thanks to its productivity and the results achieved, exhibition ‘Rebuild Karabakh’ will be remembered for interesting moments, meetings, discussions and new initiatives within the exhibition will become a convenient platform for business contacts. Besides, the exhibition will contribute to the successful implementation of all efforts and initiatives aimed at the restoration and reconstruction of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur," he said.

President Aliyev points out that the restoration of territories liberated from occupation in the post-war period, sustainable settlement, as well as transformation of the region back into a developed corner of our country are the most important goals facing Azerbaijan.

"Azerbaijan has directed all its efforts to the successful realization of this supreme goal. Advanced models are being created in the liberated territories to ensure safe living, the construction of cities, towns and villages, construction of strategically important and comprehensive infrastructure, as well as restoration of the environment. Implementation of Zangezur Corridor Project will turn the region into an important transport and trade hub. In a word, the liberated lands are being restored at a rapid pace, our goals related to a large return are being successfully implemented," the president stressed.
