Overdue loans in Azerbaijan decreased to 3.4%

September 26, Fineko/abc.az. The loan portfolio of banks and non-bank credit organizations of Azerbaijan for Jan-Aug 2022 increased by 11.8% to AZN 19.136 bn.

ABC.AZ reports that in August, the loan portfolio of banks increased by 0.8% or by AZN 151.2 million.

Banks’ total loan portfolio on business loans for the reported term made up 56.3% (AZN 10.49 million).

The share of overdue loans in the total loan portfolio (including NBCOs and credit unions) for the reported term made up 3.4%.

The indicator decreased by 0.8 percentage points since the beginning of the year and by 2.4 p.p. compared with the relevant period of 2021.
