Number of people employed in this sector of Azerbaijan increased

September 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank has published a report on August 31, 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that as of the specified date, the number of branches of 26 banks amounted to 483, branches - 94, ATMs – 2,960.

In August, the number of people employed in the banking sector increased by 1% (218 people) up to 21,947 people.

In general, over Jan-Aug 2022, the number of employees in the banking sector increased by 8% or by 1,618 people.
