September 19, Fineko/abc.az. According to Article 29.2 of the Agreement on Joint Development & Shared Distribution of Production from the deepwater part of the Azeri, Chirag and Guneshli fields in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea dated September 14, 2017, during 2018-2025, the payment of an oil bonus in the total amount of $3.6 bn is envisaged.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the annual payment of this amount is $450 million.
In 2022, the funds were paid to Azerbaijan in January 2022.
