Russian Central Bank lowers discount rate to 7.5%

September 16, Fineko/abc.az. At the next board meeting the Central Bank of Russia decided to reduce the base discount rate from 8% to 7.5%, ABC.AZ reports, referring the official website of the bank.

In 2022, annual inflation will be 11-13%, and in 2023 it will decrease to 5-7%. In 2024, it will return to the target level of 4%, the Central Bank predicts.
