Azerbaijan's total balance of payments surplus more than triples for past half-year

September 15, Fineko/abc.az. The total surplus of Azerbaijan's balance of payments in the 1st half of 2022 amounted to $4.6 bn (3.7-fold more versus Jan-Jun 2021 - $1.26 bn).

The CBA informs that the total surplus was formed due to current account surplus of $10.3 bn (5.5-fold growth), capital account deficit of $100,000 (46-fold growth), financial account deficit of $5.298 bn (9.2-fold growth), balancing item deficit of $399.2 million (growth by 11.7 times).
