Fed may raise interest rates

September 9, Fineko/abc.az. Representatives of the U.S. central bank (Fed) indicated a possible increase in interest rates by 75 points at a meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee on September 20-21.

Following the announcement, they raised their September forecasts for an interest rate hike from 50 basis points to 75 basis points, ABC.AZ reports with reference to foreign media.

A similar change in the forecast was announced by Goldman Sachs a day earlier.
