August 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Agricultural Bank of China, the country's third-largest bank, posted a 5% net profit increase to $18.6 billion in the first half of this year, ABC.AZ reports citing the Hong Kong stock exchange.

According to the report, the Agricultural Bank of China generated a net profit of 128.95 billion yuan in the first half of 2022. This is 6.117 billion yuan, or 4.98% more than the same period last year. At the end of June, the banking giant's total assets grew by 11.5% year-on-year to 32.426 trillion yuan ($4.7 trillion).
