August 24, Fineko/abc.az. More than 15,000 companies with foreign capital are registered in Azerbaijan, of which 200 are with Kazakh capital, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), told the first meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Business Council.

ABC.AZ quotes him as saying that after the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from occupation, foreign entrepreneurs show great interest in restoring these lands.

“Karabakh has great potential for business development in the energy, tourism, transport and logistics sectors. Our agency has received more than 1,100 applications from foreign companies for doing business in the liberated territories, of which 65 percent falls on Kazakhstan,” Mammadov said.
