August 22, Fineko/abc.az. The loan portfolio of banks increased by 0.9%, or by 167.4 million manats, to 18.487.4 million manats, at the end of July 2022, ABC.AZ has learned from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
It was noted that the share of business loans in the total loan portfolio of banks amounted to 56.8% or 10.497 million manats. In general, for 7 months of this year, the loan portfolio of banks increased by 11%, or by 1.828.3 million. Business loans increased by 0.2% compared to June and by 23.8% compared to the beginning of the year. Banks' consumer loans increased by 2.4% against June and by 45.2% (or 1.654 million manats), amounting to 5 billion 315 million manats, against the beginning of the year. Mortgage loans increased by 1% and 32.6% respectively, reaching 2,675.4 million manats.
