August 4, Fineko/abc.az. Brazil has raised interest rates to the highest level in 5 years.
The Central Bank of Brazil has raised the interest rate by 0.50 p.p. – from 13.25% to 13.75% to "curb" high inflation, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media.
Thus, the percentage of politics rose to the highest level since 2017.
According to the latest data, annual inflation in the country was 11.39%.
