August 3, Fineko/abc.az. The total volume of transactions conducted through the National Payment System (AZIPS, XOHKS) amounted to AZN 128.2 bn, and their number is 38.8 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the number of payments passing through AZIPS amounted to 600,000 on large and urgent payments (the main component of the national payment system) and the volume – AZN 109.4 bn and through XOHKS, which allows making small and constantly recurring payments on electronic media - 38.2 million payments with volume of AZN 18.8 bn.

Compared with Jan-Jun 2021, the number of transactions performed on AZIPS increased by 27% and on XOHKS – by 8.9%, and in volume – by 31.5% and 23%, respectively. The number and volume of transfers made by commercial banks through the National Payment System increased by 9.2% and 39.1%, respectively, compared to the 2021 same term.
