August 2, Fineko/abc.az. Bank's operations continued at a loss in the 1st half of 2022. Pasha Bank Georgia completed the 2nd quarter with a loss, ABC.AZ informs with reference to bank's report.
The bank received income of 19 million lari (a rise of 3.5 million lari or 23%).
If during the same term of 2021 Pasha Bank Georgia received 12.75 million lari from loans, this year this amount exceeded 15.63 million lari.
And the bank's interest expenses increased from 7 million lari up to 8 million lari. As a result, net interest income increased to 10.9 million lari (last year it was 8.4 million lari).
Non–interest income grew by 85% - from 2.2 million lari up to 4.2 million lari and non–interest expenses by 2.3 million lari up to 13.7 million lari.
As a result, following the 1st half of 2022, bank's operating loss amounted to 2.8 million lari (about 3 million lari in 1st half of 2021)
Pasha Bank Georgia also directed an additional 500,000 lari to reserves. As a result, the bank ended the half-year with loss of 3.3 million lari. Last year, this amount reached 1.4 million lari. In other words, bank's net loss grew 2.3-fold against 2021.
