July 29, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of the 1st half of 2022, the number of accounts of the bank's clients in Azerbaijan increased by 6% (versus 1st half of 2021) up to 29.6 million. The number of bank accounts opened this July reached 149,662.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that 81.9% of bank accounts are current accounts, 17.2% - credit accounts, and 0.9% - deposit accounts.

According to CBA’s semi–annual report, 98.8% of current accounts belong to individuals (2.9% of which are individual entrepreneurs), and the rest to legal entities.
