July 27, Fineko/abc.az. The number of payment cards in circulation in Azerbaijan increased up to 12.244 million cards in June 2022 (a rise of 225,000 cards versus May), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank.

Compared with the end of 2021, the number of payment cards for Jan-Jun 2022 increased by 1.204 million cards.

In June, the number of salary cards grew by 19,000 cards up to 2.669 million cards, other debit cards by 186,000 cards up to 4.576 million cards and the credit cards by 25,000 cards up to 1.55 million cards.

And the number of social cards declined by 6,000 – to 3.448 million cards.
