July 25, Fineko/abc.az. This year, Azerbaijan has seen high dynamics of growth in the indicators of non-cash payments of individuals.

ABC.AZ reports that chief specialist of the CBA Department of Payment Systems & Settlements Rashad Gasimov stated about this.

"In the 1st half of 2022 the non-cash transactions on payment cards in the country increased 2.2-fold and reached AZN 9.9 bn," Gasimov said.

He noted that compared with Jan-Jun 2021, the share of non-cash turnover on internal transactions carried out using payment cards increased by 12.2% up to 40.4%.
