Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $120.43 a barrel

June 6, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Monday’s trading after a rise following the past week.

At the London ICE Futures Exchange the August’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.71 (0.59%) up to $120.43 per barrel by 09:13 am. Following the trading on 3 June, the price of August’s Brent crude futures grew by $2.11 (1.79%) up to $119.72 per barrel.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the July’s WTI oil futures increased in price by $0.70 (0.59%) up to $119.57 per barrel by 09:13 am. Following the trading on 3 June 3, the price of WTI oil futures for July grew by $2.00 (1.71%) up to $118.87 per barrel.

Following the past week, the price of Brent oil increased by 3.6% and WTI by 3.3%.
