May 20, Fineko/abc.az. The import of passenger cars with diesel engines has increased by 30% in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that in the 1st quarter of 2022 our country imported 4,919 passenger cars with diesel engine from abroad for $26.87 million.

The number of cars with engine capacity of up to 1,500 cu m declined by 4% to 1,607 cars (import value of $5.76 million), with engine capacity of 1500-2500 cc increased by 59.4% to 3,213 cars ($29.43 million), and with engine capacity of more than 2500 cc grew by 14% to 99 cars ($4.4 million).
