May 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev - Sumgait highway is being expanded by 4 lanes.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Agency of Highways of Azerbaijan that the length of the 4-lane extended section of the Tagiyev-Sumgait road is 13.7 km.

As a result of construction works, the former width of the road is expanded from 15 m to 23-26 m, and the width of the carriageway – from 7-10 m to 15 m.

Currently, work is underway to process the turning sections, install curbs in 2 designated places, and profile the axis of the road on a section of 2-4.6 km.
