Cost of oil rises, and Brent is at $112.51 a barrel

April 18, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Monday’s trading, after significant increase by the end of past week.

By 09:10 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the June’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.81 (0.73%) up to $112.51 per barrel. Following the trading on 14 April, the price of June’s Brent crude futures grew by $2.92 (2.68%) up to $111.70 per barrel.

By 09:10 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for May increased in price by $0.74 (0.69%) up to $107.69 per barrel. Following the trading on 14 April, the price of WTI oil futures for May grew by $2.70 (2.59%) up to $106.95 per barrel.

Last week, Brent crude oil rose in price by 8.68% and WTI by 8.84%.
