April 15, Fineko/abc.az. Milli Majlis has held a regular session today.

ABC.AZ reports that at the meeting MP Ali Masimli touched upon the issue of educational loans.

He emphasized that Azerbaijan has a very high annual interest rate on educational loans, and proposed to cut it from 6% to 3%.

"According to the rules, you need to score at least 300 points to get an educational loan. This is a serious limitation, it needs to be eliminated. If an applicant scored more than 300 points, he would have to study on the basis of state order," he stressed.
