February 23, Fineko/abc.az. Munich Re, Germany's second largest insurance company and the country's largest reinsurance company, has cancelled the contract for Nord Stream 2, Munich Re’s CEO Joachim Renning stated.
On Tuesday, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Germany was suspending the certification process of the gas pipeline.
According to Scholz, he instructed the Ministry of Economy to withdraw the conclusion on energy security, which had previously been submitted to the national gas regulator.
