February 23, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, the Hong Kong authorities will again distribute electronic coupons to residents of this special administrative region of China to stimulate consumption under conditions of the pandemic.

ABC.AZ reports that government circles noted that this is 10,000 Hong Kong dollars ($1,280) per person - twice as much as last year.

"Last year, we introduced the consumer voucher scheme for the first time. It has proved effective in strengthening market sentiment, stimulating local consumption and accelerating economic recovery. It also contributed to the expansion of electronic payments," the government source noted.
