February 11, Fineko/abc.az. The Gobu energy junction is one of the largest energy facilities built in recent years. Considering that the Yashma substation was launched at the beginning of the week, everyone can see how much work has been done in the energy sector in Azerbaijan in just a week.

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev made the above-said statement after the opening ceremony of the Gobu energy junction.

Speaking about the significance of the Yashma substation and the Gobu energy junction, the head of state said: "The commissioning of a large substation in Yashma, which took place at the beginning of the week, will serve energy sustainability. The 750 MW substation will certainly occupy an important place in our energy system. And the opening of the Gobu power plant with capacity of 385 MW today will certainly significantly increase the generating capacity. A 1000 MW substation was built next to this station in just a year.”
