December 28, Fineko/abc.az. The State Traffic Police of the Baku City Main Police Department has appealed to drivers in connection with complaints about transport vehicle malfunctions.

ABC.AZ reports that STP chief inspector Araz Askerli informed that in accordance with Appendix #1 to the Law on Road Traffic the list of transport vehicle malfunctions has been defined.

He said that in accordance with Article 342.5 of the Code of Administrative Offences, if these malfunctions are detected in the vehicle regardless of the will of the person, that is, without timely, proper maintenance, the driver will be fined 50 manats.

"However, if the driver makes additions and changes to the design of the vehicle established by the manufacturer, a fine of 150 manats is imposed on him in accordance with Article 342.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences," he added.
