December 20, Fineko/abc.az. A new strain of omicron coronavirus has not been detected in Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ was informed at the National Center of Hematology & Transfusiology.

The Center noted that research on all mutations and new strains continues: "All suspicious test samples are being investigated. According to the results of the inspections, a new strain of coronavirus "omicron" has not yet been identified. If it is found, the public will be informed."
