According to Ivane Chkhaidze, medical director of the Iashvili Children's Central Hospital, the country has two options: the first is to follow the recommendations of the World Health Organization and vaccinate adolescents from the age of 12 only if they belong to the risk group. The second option is to vaccinate all children over the age of 12, regardless of their health status.
