April 27, Fineko/abc.az. Lockdowns because of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic have recently led to shortage of semiconductor chips from major car parts. This has had negative impact on the production of cars in the American and European markets.

ABC.AZ reports that largest American automakers General Motors and Ford have already publishing official data, announcing the reduction in production volumes. And since last week a number of European automakers have begun to take similar steps.
