April 23, Fineko/abc.az. Banks operating in Azerbaijan paid interests on deposits in the amount of AZN 82.6 million for the first 3 months of 2021.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Central Bank that banks' interest expenses on deposits decreased by AZN 8.9 million or 9.7% versus Jan-Mar 2020.

Thus, over the first 3 months of 2020 the country’s banks paid AZN 91.5 million of deposit interests.

AZN 372.4 million were paid on deposits in 2019 and AZN 312.9 million in 2020.
