March 9, Fineko/abc.az. The ombudsman has put forward proposals providing for increased benefits, improved housing conditions and other benefits for military personnel.

ABC.AZ informs that this recommendation is reflected in the report of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) for 2020.

The report says that in order to ensure the right to housing for military personnel who have served flawlessly in the Armed Forces for 20 calendar years or more and who need housing, at the national vote held on 26 September 2016, in accordance with the amendments made to Part I of Article 9 of the Constitution, to amend Presidential Decree #569 from 28 December 2011.
