February 10, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. has changed its forecast on oil prices.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration predicted that the average price for Brent crude oil will be $53.20 per barrel this year, ABC.AZ reports with reference to Bloomberg.

Last month the forecast was about $52.70/barrel.

The average price of Brent will be $54.47 in the 1st half and $52 per barrel in the 2nd half of 2021, the Department said.

Next year, the average price for Brent oil will be $55.19 a barrel. The previous forecast was $53.44/barrel.
