September 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2020 Azerbaijan produced 23.42 million tons of crude oil (including gas condensate) and 24.9 bn cu m of natural gas.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that 17.8 bn cu m of commercial natural gas were received from this volume.

The total cost of production in the extractive industry reached AZN 15 bn for Jan-Aug 2020 and decreased by 5.2% compared with the same term of 2019.

Production of commercial oil in the country fell by 7.2%, while extraction of commercial gas grew by 8%.
