Azerbaijan`s crude oil sale earnings sharply fell more than by $3 bn

September 15, Fineko/abc.az. The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan has published a report for Jan-Aug 2020.

ABC.AZ informs that according to this report, Azerbaijan exported 20.746 million tons of crude oil for $6.79 bn for Jan-Aug 2020 versus 21.45 million tons of crude oil for $10.458 bn for Jan-Aug 2019.

This shows that crude oil exports decreased by 3.3% in quantitative terms and by 35% in value terms.

This means that the currency coming to Azerbaijan from crude oil exports fell by $3.665 bn.
