August 13, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2020 about $48 million was spent on operating expenses and about $14 million on capital expenditures on Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC), ABC.AZ informs with reference to BP-Azerbaijan’s report.

Since the commissioning of the BTC pipeline with a length of 1,768 km until the end of the 2nd quarter of 2020 more than 462 million tons (3.47 bn barrels) of crude oil were transported via this pipeline and 4,526 tankers were shipped to world markets from Ceyhan.

For the past two quarters about 15 million tons (more than 113 million barrels) of crude oil and condensate were exported via BTC and 145 tankers were loaded in Ceyhan.
