July 27, Fineko/abc.az. The price of gold has reached a record high in international markets and in Turkey.

ABC.AZ reports that the price of an ounce of gold on international exchanges reached $1,944.

The price of August’s gold futures on the New York Comex Exchange reached $1944.3 per ounce.

The previous absolute record was set in September 2011, when an ounce of gold was worth about $1,921.

The price of an ounce of gold on the markets on 1 January 2020 was $1,517 and on 19 March 2020 - $1,471.

The price of a gram of gold in Turkey also reached its highest level with 426 TL.

So, at the beginning of the year a gram of gold was 290 TL.
