July 3, Fineko/abc.az. In June the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection paid out social security payments to more than 2.3 million people.

ABC.AZ was informed at the MLSP that 1.264 million people received pensions, 421,000 ones - benefits, and 300,000 ones - scholarships. Targeted social assistance was rendered to more than 350,000 family members from 84,000 families.

In June of this year the number of recipients of social benefits increased by 7.4% or 161,000 people against last June.

Last month a total of AZN 480 million was allocated for financing pensions, allowances, scholarships and TSA that is by 19.25% or AZN 77.5 million more versus the 2019 same term.
