June 25, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund’s executive director Tural Piriyev held a press conference to clarify the issue of returning deposits in the recently closed banks.
ABC.AZ reports that the executive director noted that in this regard, there was an appeal to the Cabinet Ministers: "There was an appeal for the issue to be resolved in favor of the citizen. The problem that arises as a result of transferring deposits from one branch to another will be solved in favor of citizens. In some cases, mistakes made by banks cause problems with deposits. But it is known that the citizens are innocent in this matter.
So, there will be no problems in this matter. It is expected that all the disputed issues will be resolved by the end of the summer."
