June 10, Fineko/abc.az. The availability of preferential pension coverage for employees with harmful and difficult working conditions has been increased.

ABC.AZ was informed on the occasion at the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection.

Men who have worked for at least 12 years and 6 months and women who have worked for at least 10 years are entitled to an old-age pension with a reduction of the age by 5 years.

It is proposed to eliminate the need of simultaneous requirement of both the pension capital and the total length of service (25 years for men and 20 years for women) when assigning a pension. According to the new project, the humanistic approach is also evident in cases where working conditions do not provide the required service life, especially for those who work in dangerous and heavy jobs.

The project contains a proposal to reduce the amount of pension capital required for such cases to 30%.
