June 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Parliamentary Committee on Regional Issues has conducted a regular meeting.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to qafqazinfo that at the meeting it was noted that the draft law submitted by the Azerbaijani president as a legislative initiative on making of partial changes in administrative-territorial division of Babek district of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is on the table.

According to the draft, it is planned to assign the status of a city to settlement Babek of Nakhchivan, and the status of settlement to villages Jahri and Nehram. At the end of the discussion the document was recommended for the plenary session of Milli Majlis.
