June 8, Fineko/abc.az. A new draft law prepared by the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection on the amendments to the Labor Code offers the new proposals on labor leave were put forward.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry that according to the draft, changes in Article 125-1 of the Labor Code say about the provision of 14-day paid maternity leave to men. To receive such leave, the employee will need to present a certificate from the medical institution where the employee's spouse plans to give birth.

The vacation will be mandatory.
