April 30, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Labor & Social Protection of Azerbaijan established that 320,000 persons who applied for lump-sum payment of 190 manats allocated as financial aid for the poor, consisting of informally employed persons who lost their jobs under conditions of special quarantine regime and the unemployed, have an active employment contract.
News agency ABC.AZ was informed about that at the MLSP.
Under the law, persons who have active notification of an employment contract in the Ministry's subsystem “Notification of an Employment Contract” are not considered as unemployed and are not assigned a lump-sum payment.
For this reason, 320,000 persons who were found to have an active employment contract were refused this payment, and the SMS message indicated the reason for the refusal was sent to them.
