March 11, Fineko/abc.az. SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev discussed with Uzbekneftegaz’s chairman of board Mehriddin Abdullayev the questions of exchange of experience.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to SOCAR that in the meeting it was noted that Uzbekistan has implemented reforms in various areas of the oil and gas industry, and Uzbekneftegaz is interested in studying SOCAR's experience.

During the discussions the parties will exchange experience with the purpose to study in detail SOCAR's experience in building a modern petrochemical complex, as well as the project on upgrade of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery.

In the meeting it was stressed that SOCAR engaged McKinsey as a consultant in making a new strategic development plan that meets the challenges of the new time and covers the period from 2025 to 2035.
