February 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's banking sector earned net profit of AZN 536.9 million for 2019.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to data from the Central Bank that the indicator is by 92.2% more against 2018. Thus, last year banks' operating income amounted to AZN 2.645 bn (by 14.9% more versus 2018), operating expenses AZN 1.75 bn (9.05% more), deductions for special reserves AZN 221.3 million (35.9% less), other income AZN 21.3 million (8.5-fold more), income tax payments AZN 156.1 million (2.2-fold more).
