January 22, Fineko/abc.az. Car production in Azerbaijan has increased by 31 times.

The State Statistics Committee reports that last year Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, other vehicles, cars and semi-trailers for AZN 282 million.

"Compared to 2017, manufacture of cars grew by 31 times, while making of machinery and equipment decreased by 19.1%, and other vehicles by 67.3%. Household air conditioners were not produced in 2018, but 1,303 tractors and 973 cars were fabricated," the Committee said.
